Ability to switch between runs and sections

When I’m skiing with mates or just by my self Carv cuts the run into sections instead of one long run when I have to wait for them or I catch my breath. It should allow 30sec or a min to continue on that run to the chair lift. This could be switchable to allow anyone that wants to break up their run into sections.
