Add security Cable to avoid loss of Sensors

The CARV2 catches are not as secure as CARV1. My left one came off twice on my first day. Fortunately, a fellow skier found it. The CARV1 had the added security of being connected to the insoles. I suggest making two small holes in the plastic casing (see photo for location) to allow a fine steel cable or strong nylons cord to be fitted with a small screw carabiner to allow it to be clipped to a handy location on the boot. I have Patriot Straps and I can attach the clip to the buckle.
Mine is in the beta stage, I will be adding screw carabiner clips.
I suggest that you supply retrofit security kits for existing customers and re-engineer to incorporate this security update,

    It is quite easy to do. There is 4 little screws with torx head (T-3, I think). You unscrew 2 of them diagonally. Then you use a nylon fishing cord make a loop knot at each ends, tight it on each screw, and screw them back. Voila. You can see I had lost the freakin pin and fortunately I had done my security cable trick before.

      Also make sure you don’t over tight the screws. You don’t want to strip the plastic. 5N-m is enough.

    Wow! It hadn't occured to me that they might fall off. I remember with my CARV1 it came off in a fall but the cable kept it attached. The new ones really need some security. The lanyard looks a bit basic but should do the job.

    Great idea. One of mine dropped off. Fortunately, I saw it. Suck a simple design, easy to copy. I’m going to do it for mine. But I think CARV should do something about it.

    We lost one at half term this season. Amazingly we found it the next day using the last recorded data from the app and searching that area using bluetooth until the sense appeared so we knew we were within close proximity to it. Of course if it had been buried during piste bashing we'd have never found it. My son (who lost it) was absolutely devastated when he found out it was missing. Big up vote on this one from me.
