Disable sensor disconnect announcements

Every time I get on a chairlift, my sensors disconnect. When I get off they reconnect. Often they disconnect and reconnect multiple times while on the lift. The sensors are in one of the recommended spots, on the outside sides of my boots. Battery is full, and my phone is in the pocket of my pants, with nothing else next to it.

This is NOT a complaint about the disconnections. I understand that interference from the metal on chairlifts is totally normal. Since they reconnect immediately it doesn’t affect lessons. I’m not looking for tips to reduce the odds of disconnection.

What I want is a way to stop the constant disconnect & reconnect announcements. They are incredibly annoying and often interrupt the feedback that plays at the beginning of the lift ride.

Since the app has some understanding of when I’m on a lift, ideally it would automatically disable these announcements. Or if that’s difficult, an option to disable them across the board would work as well.

For me this is enough of an issue that I probably won't renew my subscription until it’s resolved.
