Help with navigating a mountain
I know this is very far from the core competency of your app, but it would be great if I could tell the app what lift I wanted to get to and it could tell me in my ears as I ski down the mountain whether I should turn left or right to get there

I totally agree with this! Even a basic feature where we can verbally ask Carv where we are, what trails friends are on, and what trial to take to get to ____ lift, restroom, lodge, etc.

GPS navigation
Something like Snonav ski GPS would be a cool feature, allowing users to plan their routes and set destinations. The app could then generate the best routes and use voice guidance and a GPS map to tell the user which runs and lifts to take to reach their destination. It would also be cool if there were a feature to set preferred types of routes, and the app could use voice directions to tell the user which lifts to take and whether to go right or left at intersections. I think this would be something revolutionary allowing navigation to be paired with the carv sensors. Making carv more then just a way to improve skiing and a way to help navigation and make it easier to get around the mountain. I know it will probably never be made but I think it’s a cool idea. Thanks, Laura! Some people who we met on the mountain today were very intrigued by the technology. One asked about any navigation functionality and that led to a much longer convoy about potential features.
