I sometimes do very different skiing in the morning / afternoon, and change my ski gear.
I normally stop the first session, then start a new one in the afternoon, possibly with different gear.
Currently, this seems to only be stored as a single session (as in, the afternoon one “extends” the morning), and the gear allocation of the afternoon “overrides” what was set on the morning session.
At the moment I guess there aren’t many gear-derived features, but if there were to be (Carv starting to recommend skis???), then the data could be corrupted due to that.

    The gear that you set for later sessions in the day shouldn’t override the earlier sessions. If it is doing that for you, it is a bug. Please let me know if that is the case and please report a bug in any instances where this happened, as we will prioritize fixing that bug.
