If i just ski, all my skills progress (or I use monitor couch). But if choose to train one skill (like early edging) my short turn skill IvI wont increase. It is confusing.
Are you saying that, if you are using Train mode for a specific skill such as “Turning without skidding” for carving, that you levels on other skills such as “Tightening your turns” for short turns aren’t going up?

Yes, John. Exactly. I was going through short turn skill section today, training each skill above 10 and then picking next one. At this time i would only progress in the chosen skill. Then i decided to try mirror couch. Skills you choose there are different (i guess the 10 metrics Carv has). Which is confusing, but ok. And then i noticed than I started training up every single skill in short turn section. Was a big letdown. From leveling perspective.
