Select top 8 turns from 10 consecutive

In view of the fact that the IQ would like to reflect your skiing level, I think it is difficult especially on congested days to be able to make 8 consecutive turns at the highest levels. This is due to the fact that there are also other people who constitute an obstacle.
So I think it is more correct to take an example from Olympic regattas where every 4 races you can discard the worst (4 races 1 discard-8 races 2 discards etc...)

Applying the concept to CARV it could be that the score is calculated by taking 10 curves as a reference and eliminating the worst 2.
