"Skip" firmware updates

I paused a session for lunch and when I tried to resume, I had to do a mandatory firmware upgrade. Would be nice to be able to skip a firmware upgrade as doing that at the hill doesn't seem the best idea (sketchy wifi and honestly, just trying to get back on the hill). If it's already possible, I couldn't figure it out 😄
