Once you are within 50 m of the lift, you are focused on avoiding other skiers, and slowing down to enter the lift line. Any turn within 50 m of the start of the lift should be automatically discarded.

My home slope isnt very long so it would have to be a set setting or a smart setting because im still makeing my last good turn like 15-20 meters infront of the lift

This could be very problematic on indoor slopes as my slope is only 90 metres long.
