This is important to me too. I would settle for an export option for my data that is Strava-importable (like what I can do with SkiTracks).
This is one of the reasons why I still run SkiTracks alongside Carv. The other is the lack of effort in the HealthKit integration (0 calories burned = no snack points!)

I’d like to see Carv linked to Strava also. It would be nice to see my data for the day and some Carv metrics posted. It would be great marketing for Carv also

I have to use either Strava to record or Ski Tracks then export to Strava.
Be good if a maximum data set Strava can accept is provided on their API.
This is a “socials” issue - runners, cyclists this will be the central social communication of activity. I will not use carv for this as 95% of the community I have are not going to be on it.
was unexpected and disappointing- I have to use another tracker as well as carv.

Using it, loving it. One question though: I’m using pause/resume when we are going for lunch mid day, don’t want to post morning and afternoon sessions. When it’s on pause it keeps tracking GPS location so you see on Strava the walk over to the apartment, assume that is not intentional?

I’ve connected Carv with Strava but not been able to test. From what I understand, only new activities will sync. I would like to be able to export/sync historic Carv data to Strava which I don’t believe is possible as of now
