Recording a session

To start skiing with Carv just head to “Ski” in the bottom middle of your app and hit ‘Start’! To end the session just hit the pause button and click “End Session”. Be sure to let your data upload before closing the app!

Modes

Carv has three main ski modes to choose from whilst skiing:

Skiing with friends or family? You can turn off audio feedback altogether using the Mute button and check out your data on the lift, at the end of the day, or whenever suits you.

Using Carv off-piste

Carv can automatically detect the difficulty and snow type that you're skiing on - taking into account steepness and terrain variability. Carv will adapt your score based on the terrain so you're always rewarded for keeping your form when things get dicey.

This year, we’ve been working hard on improving our coaching to suit the snow. So, whether you’re in powder or bumps, we’ll be able to provide terrain specific coaching that’s relevant to you!

Boot compatibility

Carv clips onto any Ski boots: alpine, touring and even rental boots! We recommend clipping the Carv Sensor on the front or outside of your power strap. If you have thick power straps, you can remove the grip off the clip of your sensors. If you don’t have a power strap, loop your Carv sensors through your carry-straps and clip them through the top section of your top buckle.
