Your Carv coaching
Carv has been developed with top instructors to produce a framework of skills to coach you through your skiing journey. These feed into an AI coach which, along with context about you, provides audio and written feedback throughout the day.
With Carv sensors, you also have the option to try Skills Training (trying to beat your best ever level in a skill), Active Coach (trying to beat your best ever score for a metric), and Turn Monitor (hearing a score for each turn). You will also have access to legacy modes. You will need to be skiing with sensors to access these modes.
Skiing with friends or family? You can turn off audio feedback by toggling the AI coach off.
Using video coach
To use video coach you'll need a friend to film your skiing on their phone. You'll both need to be on the Carv app, and recording a session. Even if your friend is not a Carv user, they can do this without a membership.
Just head to Ski and click on the Video Camera icon at the top of the page to get started!
You can link to nearby Carv users, and when you both connect to WiFi (or Mobile data, if you have syncing via Mobile + WiFi enabled), the videos of you will appear in the video coach section of the app. Just head to the Ski tab and tap on the video icon in the top right hand corner.
