Debugging Carv GPS
Carv map context:
Carv uses GPS to track and record your ski runs by receiving signals from satellites via your phone’s GPS chip. A strong, stable GPS connection is essential for accurate tracking and performance feedback.
What Happens When GPS Fails
A weak or disrupted GPS connection can cause:
Incomplete runs or no run detection at all.
Inaccurate tracking data, such as:
Straight-line segments when the signal drops and reconnects.
Zigzag distance calculations due to jumpy signals.
GPS drift, where the path follows the pistes loosely but lacks precision.
