What Is a Carv Pass?

Your Carv Pass will gain you access to our latest analytics, real-time coaching and training content throughout the course of the season, and beyond. Improvement doesn’t stop after only one winter, so we’re excited to keep you progressing with fresh coaching content and new features every season.

If you purchased on our website you’ll be emailed your Carv Pass code on the day of purchase. If you purchased in a retail store, your pass should activate when pairing your sensors to the app for the very first time. This can be done in the “More” section of the app, at the bottom left of the screen. If your pass does not automatically apply, please contact us and share the serial number listed on your outer packaging. One of the team will be able to sort this for you.

Your pass will activate when you first ski — or at the end of the Northern Hemisphere season (30 April 2026) if you don’t ski.

Every season we record millions of ski turns and deliver hundreds of thousands of coaching interventions. We use this data to look at what worked for our skiers and improve the coaching power of Carv.

Each season Carv members will get upgraded to:

  • Our latest Ski:IQ, metrics and tips algorithm

  • More accurate training recommendations for your skiing technique

  • New content developed with top-level instructors to help you on and off the snow

Buddy Passes

You can now let a friend or family member try out Carv for 2 days! This is perfect for use with Carv 2, which has a hassle-free 'Clip and Go' setup with no installation needed. You could also give your old Carv 1 footbeds a new life by letting a buddy try them out! Every user with an active Carv Pass has unlimited buddy passes to give to family and friends.

  • Each buddy pass provides a 2 day pass that activates when your friend starts recording

  • Each buddy pass can only be used once

  • Each friend can only redeem one buddy pass per season
