How renewals work

Carv memberships are annual and renew automatically. The recurring charge is shown at checkout, and you'll confirm you understand you're signing up to a membership before you buy.

Carv (app only): your membership begins when your free three-day trial ends, and renews annually from that date.

Carv Pro: your pass activates on your first ski day with Carv, or on the last day of the Northern Hemisphere season (30 April 2026) if you haven't skied — whichever comes first. It then renews 365 days after activation.

Billing

All membership types are charged 365 days after activation. For Day Passes, you can use your days at any point within those 365 days.

Why does my membership renew each year?

Every year we work to make Carv a more powerful ski coach. We work with the best instructors in the world to build new metrics, coaching content and recommendations, and each season brings improvements to the Ski:IQ™ model itself. Improvement doesn't stop after one winter - your membership is what keeps the coaching current and keeps you progressing.

Updating payment details

You can update your payment details in your portal which you can access via this link: https://membership.getcarv.com/magic. Just click Manage and then Update Payment Details.

Cancelling

You can cancel or delay your renewal at any point in the year from your portal: https://membership.getcarv.com/magic. If you purchased in app you will have to cancel your subscription with apple. Ppen the Settings app, tap your name, select Subscriptions, tap the specific service you want to drop, and choose Cancel Subscription

Please note, if you're in a free trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your historic sessions and coaching will still exist on our server however your will not have access to them. You will need to buy a membership in order to see past sessions.

If you have Carv 2 hardware, note that the lifetime warranty applies for as long as your Carv Pro subscription is active. You can resubscribe at any time to restore it.
