Your Carv coaching
Once your sensors are connected, head to the ski tab and choose your ski mode for the session. Then just hit the ‘Start’ button in the Ski tab and you’re ready to go!
Carv coaching comes in the form of instructive content in the app, both visual and written explanations, and real-time coaching with tips.
Track - Carv will tell you your Ski:IQ each time you stop. You’ll get a tracked view of your day around the mountain and a Ski:IQ for each segment you ski!
Learn - Carv will tell you your Ski:IQ each time you stop AND tips on each lift to help you improve your technique and Ski:IQ! You’ll get a tracked view of your day, Ski:IQ for each segment and a record of all tips Carv has given you that day in the ‘coaching’ screen on your Ski tab so you can look back through and pick which ones to think about whilst skiing.
Train - Carv will tell you your Ski:IQ each time you stop, tips on each lift AND you’ll get turn-by-turn feedback for the skill you’ve chosen to train! You can choose to train skills recommended by Carv, or anything you’d like to improve, and get a record of tips you’ve been given that day in your ‘coaching’ screen on the Ski tab!
Skiing with friends or family? You can turn off Audio Feedback altogether using the Mute button and check out your data on the lift, at the end of the day, or whenever suits you.
Using video coach
To use video coach you'll need a friend to film your skiing on their phone. You'll both need to be on the Carv app, and recording a session. Even if your friend is not a Carv user, they can do this without a membership.
Just head to Ski and click on the Video Camera icon at the top of the page to get started!
You can link to nearby Carv users, and when you both connect to WiFi (or Mobile data, if you have syncing via Mobile + WiFi enabled), the videos of you will appear in the video coach section of the app. Just head to the Ski tab and tap on the video icon in the top right hand corner.
